John Tovar, was a well known music business veteran and visionary who had been working in the music industry for more than thirty years. Responsible for discovering and managing artist such as Marilyn Manson (Interscope/Universal), country music band The Mavericks (MCA/Universal), Alternative Rock bands Nuclear Valdez (Sony/Epic), The Goods (MPress Records) and Santos Renuentes (Sony Music).

While he was at the helm of the day-to-day business of TMG (Tovar Music Group), his artist management office, his record label State Of Independence, and mentor behind The FMGM Group, he was also the organizer of showcases at SXSW (South by South West Conference), Cutting Edge Music Conference, and showcases across Latin America and Europe.
